Raven Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 In my old cortina, i lost the E-clip that holds the clutch cable out (same as these corolla's) and had to drive back home with a nice hot pizza in the car, race changing gears and shoving it into first at the lights with the engine off and cranking the engine over to get going. That sucked a lot. Quote

Clown Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Nothing quite as drastic...But I have lost my 3rd Speco chrome air filter!!! Thought the Rolla was making a pretty mean sucking noise at partial throttle, then when I looked, it had no filter on!! This is starting to get expensive... Locktite time I think!! reminds me in the subaru. I used to have a pod in the front bar sitting on splash guard, it was held up by zip ties. I remember driving along and thinking "shit it sounds really windy all of a suddon" kept driving for another k and pulled over. Somehow the splash guard fell down and the zip ties broke and left the pod sliding on the road for about 1-2k's. Need less to say the pod was a weeee bit buggerd. :lolcry: Quote
