coln72 Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 It's not a bad idea to try as it is cheap and if you can find a spare set of springs your car won't be off the road for to long. Just don't do it to excess like a guy from the TCCAV who flipped every leaf bar the main one. The rear wheels would come off the ground. Quote
altezzaclub Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 I can think of a worse one! Steve's bro has a KE30 which is really low... and that is with re-set leaves! Personally, I reckon it had the worst ride I've ever been in I think, but it looks cool apparently.. Anyway, up at the Woolshed one day I jack up one side (with difficulty.. can't even get a jack under it!) and take a look. The car was literally sitting on the bump stops, so the only suspension travel was from the tyre sidewalls! I pulled the bump stops off and checked the shock stroke, and he ended up with about an inch of travel, which did make quite a difference. You have to wonder about youngsters these days... Quote
