jethro1 Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 I have recently acquired an 82 ke70 cs that is in as near to new condition as you could find. I was after a much older coupe or wagon project and came by this, not being able to resist due to its condition i now have buyers remorse as it isnt what i really wanted. So i was after some opinions as to what it may be worth thinking i might sell it to persue my original ideas. The car is a white 1 owner 64000km always garaged, the blue interior is basically unmarked including the carpet apart from a small tear on the drivers seat around the shoulder area. The body is amazing with two small rust spots on the rear panel where the boot shuts and unfortunately a dent in the passengers door. Other than that a few minor stone chips here and there. The engine has no leaks does not use fluids and drives beautifully, this car really is an amazing survivor and i would love to get an idea of what some corolla enthusiasts think it may be worth before i advertise it thanks in advance Quote
altezzaclub Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 LoL! Yes, pics! If it is as good as you say, then $2000 to $2500 I'd say. There are quite a lot around $1500-$2000 that are in very good condition with 100-150,000km on, but not immaculate. I paid $1800 for the blue one, and $900 for the gold one, both with just over 100,000km on. The gold one was cheap as it needed a head gasket from a failed radiator. Steve recently bought the best one I've ever seen from a little old lady for just over a grand I think it was. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 Cut the springs, put $350 worth of shitty 15x8 steelies on it and sell it for $5000 Seems to be how its done. If you're in SE QLD gimme a PM, I'm looking to re-shell mine. Quote
GJM85 Posted July 11, 2014 Report Posted July 11, 2014 If reshell you must, Find a 55 with no rust. For ke70's are taboo As young drifters have made poo! Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 11, 2014 Report Posted July 11, 2014 Actually wanted to do a KE35/55 couple but can't find any so I'm just gonna make the 70 faster unless someone decides to buy it. Quote
