hi guys, i was looking thourgh the site the other day and found a topic on fliping leafs to lower the car, sadly can't find the tread again (verging on computer illerate) any way just wanted more info on the topic, and mainly on wich springs to flip

thanks for your help guys! as soon as my mate gets the rego, its getting dropped. with the sring flipping, does it make them softer?

Depends how low you go. Mine is on the bumpstops, the back of my car is solid as shit, and way way way way too bouncy. Shitful for handling, looks cool though :)

 

you fliped two leafs on your 4 door?

hahahah you guys and you low cars, and here is me fitting 8, yes boys and girls 8 leafs in each side, i also use a top leaf of the other pack i used and cut off the ends and flipping the original 2nd spring from the top, it lowered the car a bit but the spring pack stays just off flat, i found the otherway just flipping made the spring bend the wrong way and i have heaps of axle tramp.

 

and its nice and stiff but doesnt give that bounce.

:S low cars!! haha yea i did mine for an experiment its on the bumpstops aswell haha :) will be going for performace as soon as i get some other things sorted and nick sounds like an awsome setup u got any more details?
