30's, 35's and early 55's had the sumitomo callipers with the rib. Late 55's and 70's have the girlocks....which can also take vn rear pads.

just an update for reference for anyone in the future looking to run -2 in the front, the wheels will not clear the calipers, you'll need a 5-10mm spacer to make it work.

On another note, anyone got spacers for sale?

that completely depends on wheel width and spoke design , they are not all the same

Really, they fit spencers car without spacers with pretty much the same calipers I'm pretty sure. Ebay for spacers, I got 8mm ones delivered for $25.

got a link by any chance?

Is the ke3* caliper/rotor offset further out compared to KE70? Should just put in KE70 struts, then you'd get clearance and better brakes. Probably only cost $50 or twice the price of spacers.

Are they a complete bolt in unit for the ke70 struts?

OK so I just change the caliper? Awesome.

Think you need the calipers, the matching discs and the caliper mounts. That's what I used anyway.

Will late KE55 ones not just bolt on?

well I'm working on a shoestring budget on this thing until my next paycheck, would I be able to file down the caliper lip in the meantime to the run the wheels until I find a girlock set, or will that be unsafe?

Thought ke55 discs were slightly different to the early ones. Always used everything as a matching set to prevent any issues. Anyway, it's only 4bolts holding the caliper mounts on.
