Hey guys

Recently got my hands on some ra65 suspension gear. Got the struts, control arms and knuckles. I recently seen a post with some info of on what I needed to do to fit these to a ke70. Can anyone shed some light?

Put the KE70 strut tops on standard or aftermarket and it all bolts up the same.

RA65 control arms are the same as KE70 just with lock stops, I would recommend going KE30/55 or xt130 control arms

Same deal if you convert them to coilover.

Ohok so easiest way would be sleeve kit it or just weld the bottom perch of a ke70 strut on? Definitely no other springs that would fit? Also I got told something about the knuckles being shorter so it pulls the strut in a bit so needed longer Lcas or knuckles so it runs it back to normal?

The RA65 perch works fine with the KE70 spring, its just lame and mega high.

Also RA65 has a different kingpin angle to KE70 so you end up with positive camber with the standard KE70 spring and LCA combo, Thus why I suggested the different LCA's before.

The knuckles are fine same as 86 manual vs ps, I had ps RA65 knuckles in mine for extra lock.

Look at my build thread its the exact setup I had

Yeah I just seen that on a different post. Always got told xt130s were longer, guess not haha. So I'd just need to get a ke70 or ae86 sleeve kit if I were to coilover them correct?

You'll only end up with -0.5-1 degree camber with ke30/55 LCA's, so its not much.

Coilover kits are universal so they just go by the strut castings diameter, Its 51mm if remember properly but measure yours to check.

Mine were HSD they were pretty good.
