jimbo69rolla Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Hey all i just recently got a 93 corolla hatch and was wondering if any one would know if there is any other rolla models that i might be able to swap the front seats out of with out any customising cheers. Quote
Mechanical Sympathy Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 In response to the thread title - are you looking to fix the collapsed seats? It's fairly easy to fix... If it's the base you just need to pull it out, flip it over and fix/weld/splice/twist/ziptie the wire mesh. If it's the back you'll have to unstitch/unclip/unzip the seat cover, peel it off and similarly fix the mesh. Otherwise if it's the frame that's broken, sure you might consider some replacements. sr_twincam Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Depending on how much you pay want to spend, there are various factory optioned seats which may work out much better. AE92 Corolla SX Seats are very comfy and are a great improvement over the stock CS CSI seats. AE92 Levin seats are very adjustable and will bolt straight in. They also get you sitting lower in the car too :) Quote
rolla76 Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 just weld a plate on the bottom works good as new. 1 Quote
Hillynath Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 I posted up a couple of photos of my seat fix in my Ae71 thread. It was a very easy fix and it's still perfect and very comfy to this day :D http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/57414-nathans-ae71-daily/ Quote
