SR30 Posted August 9, 2014 Author Report Posted August 9, 2014 Update: still waiting on the diff to be completed, ended up upgrading to bigger axles and a LSD center. I've been a bit silly and brought a new turbo, cams, injectors and z32 afm. The interior has been retrimmed and all the electrical side of things are done and dusted!! Boom! Can't wait to get this thing on the road!! Quote
indelible Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 are you running a dog leg shaped shifter ,for it to come thru in that position ? Quote
SR30 Posted August 10, 2014 Author Report Posted August 10, 2014 (edited) Nah, it just a short shifter, much the same shape as factory just with the shorter throw. I've slightly relocated the trim so it sits further back towards the handbrake, not by much though, maybe an inch. I still need to bend the shifter a wee bit because the knob gets pretty close to the radio. Won't take much to tidy up. Edited August 10, 2014 by SR30 Quote
SR30 Posted August 16, 2014 Author Report Posted August 16, 2014 Still waiting to get it back on the ground :/ Quote
SR30 Posted August 16, 2014 Author Report Posted August 16, 2014 Loving how the wheels look like they're wrapping around the brake rotors.. Quote
Sr20det ke30 rolla Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 Hey man just wondering what brake booster you are running Quote
SR30 Posted August 23, 2014 Author Report Posted August 23, 2014 (edited) Just the factory booster with a pajero master..should have the brakes bled up next weekend. Edited August 24, 2014 by SR30 Quote

Sr20det ke30 rolla Posted August 31, 2014 Report Posted August 31, 2014 Was the booster and master originally the jap style (smaller fluid resovoir) or Aussie style (big rectangle fluid resovoir)? Quote

SR30 Posted August 31, 2014 Author Report Posted August 31, 2014 Master was the cylinder shape, guessing that's the jap spec. Quote
Spectre Posted September 11, 2014 Report Posted September 11, 2014 What rotors did you end up using for the brakes? Quote
SR30 Posted September 11, 2014 Author Report Posted September 11, 2014 I ended up going for the U13 bluebird rotors. I'm probably going to change them down the track. In QLD they recommend a 10mm clearance and my setup come within 10mm of the LCAs. Sounds like the Mini Cooper rotors are a better fit. Quote
SR30 Posted October 26, 2014 Author Report Posted October 26, 2014 No updates for a while. Cams, injectors, turbo are all in :) also took a trip to Toowoomba and had the diff backlash set, brake lines and handbrake cable all finished. Still need the axles to be shortened and have put dummy axles in to move the car around again. Exhaust, axles and a tune left to go. Can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!! Moving to the city before the end of the year, looking forward to being closer to a tuner and having parts more accessible. A few updates photos :) Quote
SR30 Posted February 11, 2015 Author Report Posted February 11, 2015 Cars all done 😀 Went straight through mod plate no dramas at all, so stoked. Have run the engine up to 16psi boost however the turbo wants more, few tweaks to come. This car is so much fun!! Quote
