Just wondering if anyone knows if I need a blue plate or anything for changing my seat belts, I know they have to be adr approved but unsure of anything else. Cheers

Well my current seatbelts in my ke70 are pretty crappy, so I was thinking of just getting new ones, unsure if I could get new ke70 ones though, so thats why I asked what the deal was if I got some from another car or bought new aftermarket ones or something, but thanks man!

We replaced a friends seat belts with an aftermarket option in his KE35 and has been hassled for them, admittedly they do look quite modern compared to the rest of the car.

If I were in your position, my preference would be to find some belts from another KE70 that are in good nick. Avoid the hassle and know they will work as designed :y:

I put aftermarket ones in my import, as I had to to get it complied, and they are shit, so be warned.

by shit I mean the safety stopper on them has to be yanked so hard before it grabs its stupid.

ie, my mate could headbutt the dash easily at force...

yeah, I have them aligned properly, its just like the locking device does not move freely or something, doesnt have enough grab on the belt..
