azza91 Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 hey guys here is my thread for my new car. picked up this ae93 sx seca last week as a replacement for the ae82. its fairly standard with the only mods being extractors, 2" exhaust, low king springs and tinted windows. also has a decent headunit and better speakers inside. don't really have any plans for it other than wheels and a front lip but lets see how long that lasts haha. here are a few bad pics of it. rian Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 I would own the shit out of one of these. Quote
azza91 Posted October 4, 2013 Author Report Posted October 4, 2013 you should, such a great car. Quote
azza91 Posted October 9, 2013 Author Report Posted October 9, 2013 gave it a service today with penrite hpr15, seems to like it. also discovered it has pedders shocks all round with pedders low springs in it. just have to replace the rocker cover gaskets as they are leaking in the corners and its sweet. azza91 Posted October 29, 2013 Author Report Posted October 29, 2013 few new pics of the sx down by the river near the gf's place also put in the first mod. replaced the ghey as ʞ©$ɟ gear knob the previous owner had in it (think pink with diamonties) and replaced it with a screw on aluminium item. azza91 Posted November 17, 2013 Author Report Posted November 17, 2013 recently fitted some clear front bar indicators. really digging this look now. next job is to replace the poxy steering wheel. Quote
azza91 Posted December 31, 2013 Author Report Posted December 31, 2013 not much has been happening on this due to christmas etc. replaced the steering wheel with one less poxy, also recieved my mx73 lip but it came cracked so i will be repairing it during my time off and fitting it. other than that all she needs is a nice set of wheels and look into why the aircon makes the motor stall when coming to a stop and its all apples here. just a reminder to the dads on here is kids love helping ;) lol Quote
Ben-89 Posted December 31, 2013 Report Posted December 31, 2013 (edited) Aaron the car is looking great, glad to hear of the progress! It can be slow, but its better than nothing :) I didnt realise you could get the crystal lenses for the S2 front bar.... I had the frosted type for my S2 however I recently reverted back to my amber ones as it tied with the spoiler for that factory look.. MX73 Lip? can't say ive seen one on a E9, but I did this one to mine... MX83 Cressida Lip. Edited December 31, 2013 by Ben-89 Quote
