TOMsGPTurbo Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 (edited) nice choice, My mum use to have one of them, its now my sisters, and looks identical to yours, except hers is a 5sp manual. I nearly killed myself in it many of a time (over 220 it gets a little light through the bends :y: ). Here's some pics off my comp. P.S: You can fit the supercharged miller cycle engine from the 800 ;) Edited April 1, 2006 by TOMsGPTurbo Quote
Corolla Test Pilot Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 Aren't those supercharged engines highly technomological? My mate Gaz told me once that they don't even have pushrods! How does a motor work without pushrods??!! Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 Those pics look hot Tom....Adrian, you must do something similar to yours :y: Quote
love ke70 Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 How does a motor work without pushrods??!! :y: that was so funny when i read it!! hahahaa and those last pics do look pretty damn nice the yellow one looks almost aston marton-y Quote
Trev Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 PUSHROD: A steel rod between the hydraulic valve lifter and the valve rocker arm in overhead valve (OHV) engines. It obvious that the valves run straight off the cams, SOHC & DOHC Quote
TOMsGPTurbo Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 those camshafts look like turbos :y: Quote
Trev Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 shes supercharged, look just below where it sez camshafts well thats what it looks like Quote
ke70pussywagon Posted April 2, 2006 Author Report Posted April 2, 2006 when i saw the gold one a little bit of pee come out. i was thinking just supercharge the two liter, lower it a bit, king spring just do one spring for it so that would be it, some 18 or 19'' rims i was thinking silver wires, 100 spoke, modest exaust something to bring out that V6 sound nicely and a two tone paint job with the curent color on top and a metalic dark red (candy maybe) under. that will all be done as soon as i gain ownership of microsoft :y: but i think that would be nice Quote
Corolla Test Pilot Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 But yeah, enough of the Cletus routine. In all honesty, aren't those miller cycle blowers really technomological? I remember them being mentioned in some mid 90's Wheels mag I've got, but not in much detail. Someone give me a link, I'm too lazy to find my own. Heh. That silver one with the Alfa rims is sexomatic, how the 166 would have looked if it hadn't hit every branch on its way down... And that golden one has FD RX-7 Type-R stylz, one of the sexiest cars on the planet, IMHO. Quote
st.nick Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 My vote is the silver/ white one... Thats hot... I like Quote
