Does anyone know any information about this car?

err.... i dunno but Megz on toymods has a ke25 i think.... hes alos contemplating a 4agte of some varient...

I'm pretty sure Megz is running a 16v not a 20v. So i don't think it is him.

Anyone here on Rollaclub got a KE25 with a 4ag in Melb?

Or know of any persons? ( preferably a 20V)

Just thinking about the 20V black top conversion in a KE25, would be awesome.

120kW at the wheels in a 750kg body corolla would make one quick car, and that's naturally aspirated with a full interior! :P

Now to save some dollars for this type of project.

i don't think the 120+ kw is what you will get if you just dump a black top into your corolla. it must be worked to some extent

:P That has gotta be modified in some way you would expect! Either way its a fair effort to get that sorta power out of a 20v in NA form! Most from what i have seen only pull about 90-95 at the wheels with aftermarket ecu and about 80 to 85 in stock form! I too would be keen to see what has been done!

There was a blacktop for sale ahile ago somewhere with 140kw or so but for $10 000 i can understand that even mild work wont get u far in NA form.

Yeah I heard a while back of someone trying to sell a 20v with power in that range. I believe it was stroked with a 7AFE block and had after market cams. You can also now get pistons with a real high wrist pin so you can retain the stronger 4A block and rods. Don't expect any change from $6000 though.

Moral of story is, get some more CC's or a blower if you want that sort of power for a reasonable price :P

was for sale on toymods. could easily get alot of change outta 10k and get the same power figure. i think you will find that motor had the best bits of everything spent on it. can only presume as he was all hush about the details. personally i think its such a waste of money. i can understand people want to achieve n/a power but it can be done so much easier and cheaper with a turbo

Unfortunately I agree with Faulksy.

You can only go so far with n/a before

you reach a point that Turbo or Supercharger

is cheaper than the mods you need to make

for the same gains. What about reliability.

The more mods usually more fragile.

I like the figures of the 7mgte

Can I put one of them in a rolla?? Huh can I? :D

I'm sure you ccould slothsnr but if your gonna do that why not go 2jz??? :D

ive seen a ke70 wagon i think it was with a 1jz rammed in no firewall mods
