I was given some new saas seats for the rolla and was just wondering if any one has bought or made some mounting runner to fit the seat to the ke55 mounting points, and if so where did you get them?

Ive yet to see any after market seats that bolt in,it normally needs some mod to get them to fit.

Having said that ive seen some deadly fitments in bits of shitty tin with tek screws just bloody nightmares.

Make sure its done right.

Mine were mounted using 8mm flat bar between the rear 2 original mounts. And a 5mm steel plate with a nut under the 2 front mounts. Bolted to the rails that came with the same seats as urs.

OK, I've made some mounts that work really well, using the corolla rails and basically split them in half, bolting the top half of the rail to the seat and then to the plate and then welding the plate to the lower part of the runner

hi cameron

seat mount points where 345mm wide approx

375mm long approx

yes will have an engineer have a look at mounts , but they are so solid they will be staying in either way.

seats are from super cheap made by saas, look good and are really comfy

couple of bits of thick flat bar usually does the trick. cut off or unbolt original rails, drill holes in flat bar and bolt to rails, line up mounts on seat, drill holes in flat bar and mount seat. And don't forget to use nylock nuts when you bolt it all in :)
