Collapsible Steering Colum In My Ke30? Need Help

Hi Guys, i gave an engineer a ring as i'm coming towards the end of my project build and he said I would need a collapsible steering column.

 

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a column which will bolt into my corolla from maybe another model of corolla, i'm led to believe the ke35 features a collapsible steering column with same splines and such to connect to steering box, along with ignition and turning/wiper signals

 

Can anyone back up this information

Yeh even the KE20s had collapsible units, so you should be fine.
