LittleRedSpirit Posted June 12, 2013 Report Posted June 12, 2013 Ive heard he walks with a limp and uses brake fluid for aftershave. I also heard when he dances he generally uses crab like sideways motions and will often shout "giver" at top lung. Could be rumours though. Quote
towe001 Posted June 12, 2013 Report Posted June 12, 2013 haha, yeh i was gonna do the 4age but i just think its overdone. Plus one rep to you my good sir for thinking outside the box :D Have you thought of the Suzuki G13B twincam ? Swap out the crank from the Serria's G13 - the crank has a slightly longer stroke Bore the block out 3mm from memory and you'll get a 1.5Lt Do a cut and shut conversion on a Serria bellhousing and T50 bellhousing. Its something i've wanted to do but never had the wife's permission and either A> the money B> the time C> the transport Quote
altezzaclub Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 Some nice bike engines out there- This is a Yamaha R1 in a Fury sportscar. My son's friend just wrote off her Hyabusa, so there should be an engine in Canberra... Quote
ke70dave Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 The zetec engine woudl be awesome. After a bit of googling the RWD conversion sounds no harder than a 4age into a ke30, just gotta find the parts. Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 The parts are easy to get, its just the freight from the UK thats expensive. Id do something more locally available. Like the MIvec 2.4 litre lancer engines. Quote
towe001 Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 Like the MIvec 2.4 litre lancer engines. And you can also get them in RWD as well, just got to know where to look. Quote
TOYOCOUPE Posted June 13, 2013 Author Report Posted June 13, 2013 wow thanks for the responses guys! id rather not a motorbike engine, but ill look into the other suggestions cheers Quote
TOYOCOUPE Posted June 17, 2013 Author Report Posted June 17, 2013 Wats everyone thin of vg30det? Quote
ke70dave Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 Pretty much everything has been done before. just punch any idea you think of into google and remember that anything K powered (ke20,30,50,70) is very very simliar. Quote
kickn5k Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 Depending what state your in, a vg30et or det isn't a legal conversion in a 950kg car. Non turbo might be ok though. In all honesty speak to an engineer on what capacity your going to be allowed to go and work it out from there. Quote
