Shortened Diff From 1200

Hi guys,

 

Was looking to get a borg warned shortened for my ke20. Have found one that has already been shortened but for a Datsun 1200. Have looked at the Datsun width and its slightly shorter than the ke. Does anyone know if it will fit relatively easy. Move leaf mounts etc?

If the width is the same should be a straightforward swap if you are capable of.swapping the mounts over. I do believe the 1200 is a very similar width to early corolla diffs, but don't take that as gospel.

I read that datto 1200 axles bolt in to a banjo diff and is a good way to go 114.3.

So in saying that they might be quite similar.

Also I may be mistaken but I'm sure I read it somewhere.

You can always counter a shorter diff with DISH!

Thanks guys think it will definitely be worth having a look at then. Save me the hassle of having to get it done myself. And yeah a little bit of dish never hurt anybody :)
