Here's a sneak peak of my next project.

1966 MS47 Crown Masterline (ute)

2M (I think) with 3 speed manual

Its been sitting for a while and I'm just getting around to starting it now, first steps are to get wheels and suspension sorted, make sure it runs and drives well then paint.

Just picked up a new set of shoes for her, they are Cragar 15x8 -+0, need to put some stretch on the tires to get inside the guards.

I think this should be with me for a while, it was a tough choice to either keep my KE26 or build this thing up.

That picture is my main inspiration for this car, its the same colour and year and style I'm going for. I've got all the trim bits apart from the side strip, but I'm not running it anyway since it has some nice lines without it. Also changing tail lights.

Those KU31's are a good tyre, I want another set. Look cool as with the white pen too.

Love the KU31's, I run them all round on my RA23. The rears are just a KH18 because I wanted the higher profile.

I was thinking of pint penning my tyres, came up pretty nice!

I think it looks good and suits the crown, took ages to do just these two however, now I need to do the other side.

I've still got an unopened tin of white wall paint somewhere.

I never had any luck with whitewall paint, ended up coming off too easily, although I did use it on new tires that probably had too much natural oil in the tire.

Pretty horrible pictures as it was quite dark and I was using my phone, but I chucked the wheels on tonight. Pretty happy with fitment, pretty flush all round, maybe a tiny little poke on the front.
