ToyRolla71 Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 Hey guys so my 4age 16v has just gotten back running, It has a bad leak in the extractors due to a snapped stud in the block. It also when it warms up starts to beep at me. The beeping varies in length when i use the clutch... I'm not to sure why? Any clues? Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 (edited) Beeping from where, 4AGEs don't beep, unless you have aftermarket engine management? Do you mean the horn beeps? Edited May 9, 2013 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
ke70dave Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 More info required! as bubbles sais, there is nothing OEM on a 4age that should beep. Given it changes when you play with the clutch, perhaps its more of a squeek.....In which case it could be any rotating thing... But since your clutch makes the noise change, perhaps it is your clutch throw out bearing. Quote
rian Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 (edited) lol, from now on Reed is known as "bubbles" Edited May 9, 2013 by rian Quote
Sam_Q Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 (edited) you wouldn't mean the loud ticking noise from the exhaust leak would you? Edited May 9, 2013 by Sam_Q Quote
