Banjo Posted May 27, 2013 Report Posted May 27, 2013 Hi, Your car is looking so sweet, especially now with the ROH wheels. Now it really has an "Aussie" connection. I am just so envious. It would be so cool to own a Rolla in Australia with LH drive & cruise around. I once drove a hire car in the USA, and the LHD experience was one I'll never forget. (neither did the other US drivers who shared the roads with me that week) The ROH wheels were very big here in Australia, & we refer to them as Hot Wires. They are still popular. Here is a company in Oz specialising in them. http://www.nealewheels.com.au/ Keep us up to date with your progress with your KE20. We are "luvin" it. Would love to see some photos of the interior of your stock US KE20, to see if it was very different to our KE20s out here. Cheers Banjo Quote
Crostek Posted May 27, 2013 Report Posted May 27, 2013 Nice little KE20, You may have better luck looking for TE21 or TE27 parts on the local market or 3TC garage for the suspension upgrade. If you fit the TE parts your steering arms will need to be changed to suit the front struts and the stud pattern will change to 114.3 by 4 Quote

Cheers Banjo The interior has Recaro seats and the center console from the VW GTI I think. The dash pad is cracked and lifted but besides that everything else is in pretty good condition. Quote
coln72 Posted May 29, 2013 Report Posted May 29, 2013 From what I can see, it looks very similar to one of our old KE20's. Door trims are identical, cracked dash identical ;) Quote
verde2002 Posted May 29, 2013 Author Report Posted May 29, 2013 The cracked dash is a good indicator that this car spent all its life in Southern California. With minimal rain and over 300 days a year of sunshine we don't have any rust problems but cracked dasher are a must. ;) Quote
Crostek Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 you can buy the dash (safety pad) new from toyota still It's just that fitting them is a monster job as you have to pull almost all of the dash out to get to all the bolts and screws  Quote

They have no idea what my car is. Anyone have a part number for the dash pad? Quote
