webers4x48 Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 pretty good turn out. I didnt actually get to meet any rollaclub people... maybe someone should sport a banner or something so we know who is who? My car was Ro11a. I love the look of the coupe with the flares XXR rims etc... very nice. Half the people that were there are Rollaclub members including myself, which my car sports a Rollaclub sticker on the front windscreen (White AE82 Seca) and considering that it's a TCCAV meet, maybe it's something that should be taken up with the TCCA hierarchy as well as the Rollaclub Moderators. KEI069 Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 that was a good morning guys, enjoyed chatting to everyone and meeting a few people, some nice cars out, loved the 69 crown coupe and the ta22 with sidepipe exhaust. and who can resist an awesome drive up that mountain, that never gets old, especially when you get a car that actually handles. Cheers Justin Quote
carbonboy Posted May 17, 2013 Author Report Posted May 17, 2013 Bumpage for this, as CC&D at Brimbank Park is on this Sunday morning! We congregate in the main carpark right at the end of the entry road (mind those speed-humps) & hit up the Leaping Lizard Cafe for our caffeine fix. For a Google Maps link, click here. We welcome cars of any make, doesn't need to be a Toyota to come along so if you're worried about that, don't! Just come along. From what I hear, AE86DC will be holding their swap meet in conjunction with this months CC&D, so if you need some bits for your ride, might be worth checking out. Junes event is being tweaked a little, still the same location etc, but I'm working on a little surprise for y'all. Stay tuned. :y: Quote
silverra23 Posted May 18, 2013 Report Posted May 18, 2013 What's everyone bringing to the swap meet? I am bringing the following things: - 22R electronic dizzy/coil/ignitor that is often used in 18RG conversions $150 - DB1086 race brake pads that slot into KE55 and KE70's running Girlock calipers on the front or also Commodore VN/VP rear $50 - SAAS TA22 steering wheel boss kit $50 - Nardi Torino leather steering wheel from Daihatsu Charade Detomaso $100 - 2 x Hotwheels TA22 and a Datsun random thing - $5 each Bring your money if you want anything :) Quote
carbonboy Posted May 19, 2013 Author Report Posted May 19, 2013 Sadly I'm not much of a seller, more of a buyer of bits. Came home with a back seat full of tyres to wear out at upcoming motorkhana events, so I'm a happy chappy. :D My attempts at being creative, promptly gave up. Om nom nom nom..... A few members of the 86 Owners Club came along, a pleasure to have them. As did the members of AE86DC, who held their swap meet in conjunction with this event. It was a pleasure having them too, except for one guy in particular. Just as a personal observation, his behaivour was a little bit below what I hope for. All the rest can be found here. Quote
carbonboy Posted June 4, 2013 Author Report Posted June 4, 2013 Slight change of plan, this months CC&D has been moved to RMS Titanic in Williamstown. It will be held on Sunday the 16th of June from 8:00am to 10:30am, on the corner of Nelson Parade & Kanowna Street in Williamstown. The donuts will be fresh & the coffee as always, will be hot and tasty. For a Google Maps link to the location, please click here: http://goo.gl/maps/Av3gt . The venue of Classic Garage had unfortunately been double booked & so a change of destination was needed. Quote
Doogs Posted June 14, 2013 Report Posted June 14, 2013 Hope the weather goes away :) Couldn't agree more! Ahh well the KE20 will be out rain or shine, it's more waterproof than the newer MR2! Who thought a targa roof was a good idea?! :P Quote
parrot Posted June 14, 2013 Report Posted June 14, 2013 Don't know what you guys are complaining about. It's glorious here in Prague Quote
carbonboy Posted June 16, 2013 Author Report Posted June 16, 2013 (edited) It was a beautiful day out today, bit of a fresh breeze coming off the water but thermals solve that problem. Yeah, a Mitsubishi Lancer that's not an Evo & still cool. This one may be familiar to a few people... Random guy driving by taking his kids to soccer asked if he could come back with his other ride, "Sure!" we said. This was his 'other ride'. Yum. That is all. TExx  Crown  Arty-farty shot, with a touch of luck with the timing. I am so doing this all wrong... carbonboy Posted August 1, 2013 Author Report Posted August 1, 2013 Well, it's been a while between drinks (of coffee) but after Winterfest, CC&D is back on it's own! The next meet up will be at the McDonald's Carpark, on Murray Road in Preston. Keep an eye out for the Club Banners. The usual time of 8:00am to 10:30am applies, as does our request for no anti-social behaivour. For a Google Maps Location, please click here. Quote
carbonboy Posted August 24, 2013 Author Report Posted August 24, 2013 I'm sorry I have no photos from the last CC&D, I was unable to attend due to VMC commitments. But I have 'borrowed' a few photos from silverra23, great work mate! Just like I will be unable to attend the next CC&D on Sunday the 15th of September at Jells Park in Wheelers Hill. For a Google Maps Link to the location, please click here. The easiest way to find us will be to enter Jells Park via Waverley Road. Quote
carbonboy Posted September 9, 2013 Author Report Posted September 9, 2013 CC&D this weekend! It's on this Sunday the 15th of September at Jells Park, in Wheelers Hill. For a Google Maps Link to the location, please click here. The easiest way to find us will be to enter Jells Park via Waverley Road. If anyone feels like taking a few photos & posting them up for me, I'd appreciate it! I won't be able to make this one (Jells Park is a great venue, dammit!) as VMC Rd8 is on & I'll be headed 400km in the opposite direction. :( Quote
carbonboy Posted September 21, 2013 Author Report Posted September 21, 2013 Looks like if I want photos, I'll have to find them myself! :P Courtesy of Street Statik, we have a few but cool shots: Tarmac Toys were also present on the day & not only took a heap of photos, they did an awesome little write-up on the event which you can check out here: http://tarmactoys.co...donuts-15-9-13/ Quote
