From memory someone told me an early celica one will work, has anyone actually done this with a 3T or 2tgeu? cars in at the mechanics and i've gotta source it before they install it..

TA22 swaybar is what you need, It's a direct bolt in.

 

you'll need to obtain some TA22 swaybar bushes and mount brackets and i think elongate 1 hole for the "D" mount bracket.

My understanding is that it is a TA22 swaybar.

 

I have an actual TE27 one here I can photo and measure if required.

 

Ill go out and try fit a ta22 one in first if that fails ill grab a pic off ya, cheers!

Don't forget, if you are modifying your existing engine mounts, rather than using a TE2x crossmember, the final engine placement is affected relative to the swaybar.

 

I did ask a guy down here I got some TA22 struts from, but he didn't have a swaybar to compare. If someone in Melbourne wants to lend me one, I'll compare them side by side. - TA22 to TE27.
