Aerodesu Ke70 Corolla Carbon Bonnet

Hey Rollaclub members,

 

Did a search on here and also googled before putting up a thread but nothing comes up.

 

Been looking around for bits and pieces for the KE70 on Otomoto and came across the AeroDesu KE70 Corolla carbon bonnet.

 

Has anyone seen this fitted?, know the weight comparison to stock?, quality?, and general opinions on the product.

 

In the process of emailing them to provide the weight of the CF bonnet but someone may already know.

That costs more than an entire ke70 :/

if its for a registered car might need to see if its legal in your state or tested to adr's

from memory, any sort of composite panel will cause you dramas with rego and insurance.

At one stage i had a fibreglass bonnet on my s15, "Just cars" were happy to insure me with it on, but in the event of a crash they would only replace it with a standard one. (full comp insurance)

 

I don't think it was legal though, was just some cheap jap one.
