SimonM Posted February 9, 2014 Author Report Posted February 9, 2014 Small update: New wheel cylinders and flexible lines all round. Stops beautifully now. Changed the oil and the ridiculous old paper filter thing. Too many losable parts holding it together for my liking! new rear muffler and tail pipe. Doesn't sound like a tractor anymore! :D And while I had the back end up on ramps, I thought it was a good opportunity to demonstrate what a corona would look like as a drag car with extreme positive rake: And gave her a wash. nice and shiny :) So now I just need to do some fine tuning and find some coin for rego Quote

SimonM Posted February 10, 2014 Author Report Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) Did a bit of tuning/valve timing tonight. Running great :) still a bit of an exhaust leak at the flange at the front though Edited February 10, 2014 by SimonM Quote
glenpos Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 dunno if it will be the same, but mine decides to leak at the manifold where the exhuast bolts to it, i just give it a nip up and it stops for a while, i think its just coz of the way my exhuast sits though Quote
Feral4K Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 TOCK TOCK TOCK i presumed that was just nanna farting! Quote
SimonM Posted February 11, 2014 Author Report Posted February 11, 2014 yeah, pretty sure that's where mine is leaking. It got pulled around a fair bit while I was pulling the old pipe off. Pretty sure the bolts are rusted tight last time I checked though so may have to pull/drill it apart and put in new bolts and a new gasket Quote
glenpos Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 yeah i think mine did it every time i changed my gearbox, as i did it about 3 times and probs hung off it while under the car haha Quote
