ke2020 Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 this is exactly what I'm doing with mine. I'm painting it in 2 pak white, 13b bridgy turbo, but i want to keep the sleeper look for a while. i know people keep telling me this will break that will break but i will take it easy while i run it in. when its ready for the track i will do diff, breaks etc. Quote
grundle84 Posted February 18, 2014 Author Report Posted February 18, 2014 Yea I hate when people come in on someone's build or tell you that it won't work or that's not going to last cos it's your own car and you can do whatever the fark you want to. I had a old 120y work car with 260rwhp and everyone said the old bw68 diff would break and never did and it got a pizzling. Quote
maccat01 Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 Looking nice mate. I been watching it the whole time. They look like more mods for engine swap over ke30 caus they much smaller. Keen to see it done Quote
ke2020 Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 Yeah man so true. I have a little Datto ute that just scrapped over 200rwkw on a standard 1200 diff and I only twisted a single axle in 2 years. I suppose it comes down to how to treat it. Quote
grundle84 Posted February 21, 2014 Author Report Posted February 21, 2014 Couple spare minutes to start making up dump pipe, bought a stainless 2.5in to 4in cone reducer from Europe on eBay as couldn't find one in Australia was bout $20, so just cut it to suit the 3.5in pipe. Quote
grundle84 Posted March 8, 2014 Author Report Posted March 8, 2014 Fuel lines to engine and return are done, used speedflow and 200 series hose. Quote
