grundle84 Posted May 31, 2013 Author Report Posted May 31, 2013 Hi Shaun, yea awesome, I like seeing people doing certain cars with ca's and be good to see yours coming along. Just been buying more shit like fuel stuff, radiator etc but still need to fit big tunnel. Quote
grundle84 Posted June 13, 2013 Author Report Posted June 13, 2013 Bit of work yesterday and today. Cut tunnel out and fabed in a new one. Quote
grundle84 Posted August 10, 2013 Author Report Posted August 10, 2013 Made a place for the lift pump to live so still keep the spare wheel. Quote
Taz_Rx Posted August 11, 2013 Report Posted August 11, 2013 Carters don't really need to be mounted below the tank level as they're self priming. Much nicer pumps than say holleys imho. Quote
grundle84 Posted August 14, 2013 Author Report Posted August 14, 2013 Oh true wish I knew it didn't have to be below tank but oh well hopefully it helps in a way. Quote
Doogs Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 Any reason for the auto? What diff/brakes do you plan on running? Keen to see this evolve. Quote
grundle84 Posted August 14, 2013 Author Report Posted August 14, 2013 Auto because never had one before and just sick of pushing a clutch in, I'm getting lazyier as get older, but brakes and diff for now will be standard no big plans on changing it all yet, just want it running first. Quote
PMP020 Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 Why has no one mentioned the 1200 ute yet ? Â Nice bit of tread under those rear guards. Â Nice build BTW ! Â Cheers, Scott Quote
grundle84 Posted August 17, 2013 Author Report Posted August 17, 2013 Thanks Scott. Yea the 1200 was a big job and I never finished it as didn't have time as 2 kids and working away from home seem to get in the way so bought this ke20 thinking it will be going quicker but how wrong was I haha. But datto ute was sold earlier this year as a roller so kept engine etc for this ke20. Â Couple pics of just brake master area, had to weld up holes that someone had brake booster set up but welded a plate there for added strength too and aeroflow surge tank setup. Sometimes wish money grew on trees so pay someone to do my cars, would be so easy and quicker but good to say I built these cars 1 Quote
grundle84 Posted August 29, 2013 Author Report Posted August 29, 2013 Painted engine other day, going for the stealth look with all black fittings and hose too, must be the new in thing. Cpc plenum (Another Ariel masterpiece). My home made exh manifold. Can't wait to spool the t67. Quote
grundle84 Posted September 10, 2013 Author Report Posted September 10, 2013 Bit of free time today so made a rough dash to see what needs done then make a final good one but happy enough with this outcome, will wrap it in black vinyl and should look ok. Quote
