crustydemons666 Posted February 13, 2013 Report Posted February 13, 2013 does anyone have a dyno sheet for a standard 4age bigport and a standard 4agze i can have a look at, or know where one is on the net?? thanks. Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted February 13, 2013 Report Posted February 13, 2013 (edited) You'll struggle to get an accurate graph considering the age of the engines, plus the fact that every dyno on any is different. That's with only a cat-back (I think), but it was a 7-rib running in an AE82 so the electrics could have been a bit iffy too (I know it was missing an intake air-temp sensor at that stage). And despite what the graph looks like, it was running the factory ECU and TVIS was functional Edited February 13, 2013 by Hiro Protagonist Quote
crustydemons666 Posted February 15, 2013 Author Report Posted February 15, 2013 Thats cool. Was more or less trying to see the difference is the power/torque curve over the rev range between a 4age and a 4agze. Know the ze has more power and torque but wasnt sure what the power curve was like. Cheers Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 If you want an interesting comparison I can show you what a 7AFE with roughly the same power output looks like :P Quote
crustydemons666 Posted February 15, 2013 Author Report Posted February 15, 2013 yea for sure, I'm looking at a ke70 with a 4agze, so i wanted to know how much difference there is between the 4age and ze. the 7afe would be nice also coz i have considered a 7age conversion. Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted February 16, 2013 Report Posted February 16, 2013 Bone stock, same dyno as the others but a few years prior (and a stinking hot day so it was probably over-correcting, take a look at the intake temps) Same engine but with extractors, 2-2.25" exhaust, hotdog + Lukey Ultraflow, CAI with K&N pod filter behind front bumper. Exact same dyno and day as the AE82 above (just 8 minutes earlier), much better conditions than the previous run too. Note, even though max power figures are roughly the same, the 7A is a full 10-15kw higher at low to middle RPM and is higher overall all the way to peak - the 7A just runs out of puff earlier whereas the bigport just pulls hard to redline Quote
crustydemons666 Posted February 19, 2013 Author Report Posted February 19, 2013 sweet cheers mate. Quote
Taz_Rx Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 There's a thread full of dyno graphs in the motorsport section, I'm sure you could find some more ge/gze ones in there. ;) Quote
