Not much happening at the moment Stephen.

The head is waiting for some more machine work and then the cams have to be re shimmed.

The car is all but finished. Just the sump guard mounts to make after its dynoed and a foot brace for the nav.

Hirstglen has been canceled this weekend due to the weather so Iam not missing anything.

Before we stopped the last dyno, we pulled a few bedding in runs with a very basic tune and soft timing to 5000rpm and it was showing 125bhp with a very straight torque curve.

It looks good to make close to 200bhp.

Its going to be a slow few weeks waiting on other people, but Ill take some photos of something on the weekend.

Hows the new 70 coming along?

Abysmal!

He's got an intensive school for one week of these holidays and a "handling chemicals" course in the other, so no time on the car from back in June sometime until the end of the year after exams and work experience...

Next year we should be right! He finished Uni this year and then we can concentrate on important things!

Ive locked up a F series Celica/Supra centre for this one. The standard Supra LSD does'nt work very well. Ive also used a Torson/True Track before, its ok but still not ideal for gravel rallies.

Picked up the head today.Ill work out the new shin sizes this week end and order them on Monday.

The new buckets are 3mm bigger than standard and you can see the amount of alloy removed to clear the big cam lobes.
