hey guys this is my T-18 its not perfect but it will do

I'm yet 2 do anything 2 it yet, i've found a sc14 supercharger with intercooler for cheap so i might get

that and put it on once i fix the internals!

 

Just installed a webber onto it last night goes a little different now but not much

Keep this one here.. any mods you wish to do, either conduct it yourself or ask one of the moderators to do it for you.

my white one is a 1980 I'm getting that running for my sister so she can drive something till she can buy something else

and it has huge flared front gards

the one under the blue tarp is the one I'm planing on pimping out 2 the max when i start getting some money

and the last one parked on the road is now on its way for the crusher, i have 4 complete engine, 2 in cars and 2 out apart

i also have a celica 2T aswell just for something different!

i am also thinking about getting some lower springs for the one i drive now or some adjustables!!! dunno just as yet

 

so anything about T-18's just ask, although i may not know everything!

just posting a few pics of some engine's

 

and i also found out i have got a 13T block withc is a Hemi version so i got told! :D

this is just a photo of the one in the car i drive now befor i put the downdraft weber carb on it,

it also has tuned extractors

i have another one thats in peices on the ground under a tarp but i don't have any money 2 buy parts for it yet so its just sitting there atm

yeh its possible, but the one i can get rid of is slightly bent and twisted! i think!!! but if u wanted i could meet u somewere or wotever and show u the one i have!

I thought id put this in you thread as you asked the question

 

The supercharger is designed to have the throttlebody before, I will work better that way.

If your thinking of a carby blow through good luck, i tried it and kept blowing the accelerator pump top rubber on the carb like a baloon and covering the engine bay with fuel, I know your saying it works with turbos, yes it does but the throttle is open the engine is taking the air, with the supercharger low revs is still boosting where the turbo isnt and even with mine I'm getting 2 to 3 psi just of idle, imagine that being restricted by the butterfly in the base of the carb, where is that boost going to go?, the accelerator pump and gaskets on the carb.

 

Draw through is the best way if you have to use a carb for a supercharger.

EFI for your 3T isnt going to be easy either.

thanks nick, umm do u know were the best place might be were i can get an EFI systems for a 3t from?

and what would be the best type of Carb. if I'm useing it befor the supercharger?

I maybe wrong but i don't think they make efi for a 3tc engine.

so its going to be custom.

SU carbs work well enough. get a 2" one if you can find it, but ive seen 350 holly's etc used too

hey just letting you know that 2tge efi will fit on a 2t,

cos i was thinking of putting 2tge efi and a 3tgte manifold

on my 2t but the 2tge efi and the 3tgte efi are differnt,

2tge efi inlet is at the front and the 3tgte efi inlet go from the turbo over the rocker cover...

so a will a 2tge efi fit pn a 3t cause surly its the same! cause its the same type of engine!!!

so a 3tgte efi will fit on a 3t will it??

ke30nuts: Not sure i understand, are you saying the 2T-Geu manifold will fit the 2T or 3T head or are they all the same?

ive never had anything to do with the 3T pushrod engine, but i have been folowing a US build up of a starlet with a 3T

Here is the link to the manifold setup

picked up a 2tg EFI intake. The port spacing was good, but the bolt pattern was quite a bit off. Nothing a little bit of cutting, drilling, and tapping could not take car of though

 

this was the basis for my comment, maybe the US head is diffrent again, who knows

 

roids70 maybe it will be better to locate one you can borrow to try.

i just replaced the timing chain in my car for the moment it was a hell of a job, and it took me about 6 hours 2 change my, geez it was a hell of a job.

 

I'm also now in the process of stripping one of my others its started slowly!

oh yeh nick i might 2 what the guys done on his starlet with the plate between the head and the efi manifold so i can put efi on my 3t, if not I'm gunna go with draw through cab.
