Got stuck into it a bit today. Got the old 5k out....looks like it could be well shagged (will post pics of motor and what drained out of it tomorrow). Got a bit of work ahead of me with panel/paint work and interior to be fixed up.

So i pulled the 5k apart....it was pretty messy inside but the block and internals didnt look too bad. Will still need to be honed or bored at a guess.any suggestions as to what kind of pistons to use as a replacement?

It would have been yeah. But the owners realised snd just parked it in their yard. Little bit of moisture damage on the crank and of course the bore, but once we got the sump off a little bit of persuasion actually got everything to free up a bit. Had a bad feeling the pistons were siezed and it was going to be a paperweight.

Not much to report about as of late clap, have been thinking of getting a stock running engine to get it closer to getting it on the road. Not too phased about it being fast just want to drive it :)
