Yeah I'm getting the feeling these ke 36-8 wagon/vans just are not suited to a gas lift strut conversion!!! Have tried many ways with short struts and turn up epic fail every time....ahh well.... sleepercorty Posted March 31, 2013 Author Report Posted March 31, 2013 if u can get me a pic of how there mounted and the length of the struts would be boss. i would not recommend the gas strut conversion this is the second van that i have removed some from and both had bent hinges, when closed the gas struts are still putting pressure on the tail gate and over time bend the hinges and you have a gap at the top of the tail gate and roof.
