What Seats Will Fit Into An Ae82 Twin Cam

I have searched but can not find the answers i need

 

i have an ae82 twin cam corolla and my drivers seat has had it, I'm wondering what (in the toyota range) is an direct bolt in and is easy to find ?

 

i only really need the drivers seat but if i could find a pair of seats and rears then I'm happy too grab them.

 

I just need to know what will bolt in with no modification

get ready for nothing to bolt straight in, you need to make a set of rails to suit your choice of seats.

Pull the bottom support out of a passenger side ae82 seat and put it in your drivers side, they are normally a bit better for wear.

so your saying nothing from the toyota range will bollt in, not even an ae92 ?

Gonna need new rails for any non-ae82 seats mate.

 

If you want to spend more you can get rails for recaros or brides from japan.

Yes they will as the rails/bolt spacings are the same, having said that, Twin Cam seats are more comfortable. I thought the same when I first looked into this, lots of seats are VERY close, but no cigar.

Twincam and single cam seats are exactly the same, the comfort level just changes from c, cs and csx (twincam).

ok which seats are the closest i don't mind welding a small peice of flat bar on and drilling a hole

AE82 fits AE82.

 

Anything else does not.

If you're capable of welding then anything can 'fit'.
