2Dr Ke70/te70/ae70 Wagon Doors Same As 2Dr Sedan?

Since we were deprived of ever getting these cool 2dr wagons in North America, can someone verify if the doors are interchangeable? I'm getting an 83 wagon and an 82 2dr sedan parts car soon and really want to make my own 2dr wagon!

 

It makes no sense that Toyota would make different doors for these models so hopefully my dream build isn't a wash.

woop sorry read it wrong i thought he said 4 door wagon

 

he doesnt state if the wagon he is getting is 2 or 4 door

I did say we never got the 2dr wagon so yes, the one I'm getting is a 4dr that I want to convert to 2 dr and want to make sure I have everything before I cut into it.

yeah you will have to do alot of work to the centre pillar and rear door to make it look right.

Were the opposite in Aussie we didn't get the 2 door sedan. I do remember a thread where a guy was modifying a 4 door sedan to a two door by using wagon doors. But its all hearsay from me. Ill see if I can dig up the thread when I get on a PC.
