Sznaps Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 sleeper level 80 :-). I doubt you have traction with these wheels though. Quote
574TIC Posted December 26, 2012 Author Report Posted December 26, 2012 Very nice. Must be a blast to drive. Yeah its awesome fun, only running 5psi atm because its only running the stock 40yr old diff. Traction wise, its not actually that bad atm. at 15psi it'll be mental :) Quote
574TIC Posted December 27, 2012 Author Report Posted December 27, 2012 Yesterday I changed the diff oil and the engine oil and filter. Went to drive to work this morning and noticed it was blowing smoke. Got home and after having a play around, I've blown the turbo :( but on the plus side, I now get to get a bigger turbo:) Quote

574TIC Posted December 30, 2012 Author Report Posted December 30, 2012 so today I decided to pull the turbo and manifold off to see weather it was the turbo that was the problem. Turns out there was a shit load of oil on the 4th cylinder spark plug and in the 4th port going to the turbo manifold. so it's looks like I'll be pulling out the piston next Saturday to have a look. 574TIC Posted January 8, 2013 Author Report Posted January 8, 2013 Saw this on the Downshift forum: Thanks Reed :) was funny seeing peoples faces when they walked up behind and and saw the motor. so, ive been speaking to some different people and I'm not thinking about just putting a 20v or a standard 16v gze in there with my turbo setup to get it back on the road. also, trying to find a h165 complete diff if anyone knows of one around!!
