madkp61 Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 (edited) hey guys,I'm new to the forum and I'm from nz thought id put this up so you guys can give me some tips for the build,so i brought it at the start of the year it had a few mods like 5k engine,bucket seats,zona bridgestone wheels,king springs and a few other things. my plans are to get it road legal for now and then look at some bigger things. anyway heres some pics for you,any tips/help would be great. madkp61 Posted December 8, 2012 Author Report Posted December 8, 2012 Will get more pics up soon, just finished sandblasting my wheels they were painted black which looked crap so they look alot better now, I have to get a new diff because the one in it is screwed,any recommendations for that would be good and I've also got to fix the rust which I'll get some pics of soon. You are asking us for ideas on what to do to your car?!?! -I recommend looking around at other peoples build threads and seeing what you like about each of them. Then, you can put together a plan for your own car to make it suite your taste. I look forward to seeing more pics of your 75' :) (you can look at my beater for ideas \/ in sig.) Quote

madkp61 Posted December 10, 2012 Author Report Posted December 10, 2012 got a pic of my wheels today, and the dumpy which will be finding its way on to it soon, also took a roadtrip today to go and look at a ke70 wagon so proberbly another car for the garage!! Also got some pics of the rust which is in very strange places any recomedations on what do rust wise? Quote

Tried alittle bit of polish on them and it looks overrated super shinny. Well next thing on the list for the 30 is a new diff... What sort of options do I have???? Quote

Skellington Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 If you can do the work a diff / axle from an AE86 can fit. You would have to convert your car to link, or convert the axle to leaf. If you are doing that much work you might as well go with a celica one that has lsd and can handle a lot more power. Quote
