RollaGirl Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 If someone said i will give you $20,000 for you car but you are only allowed to spend it on making your car go faster or making your car look better which one would you pick? And it can't be both! Quote
wyldephyre Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 In my case? Pimp it! I don't really like to drive fast, so yeah. Stylin' for me. Quote
Nitephyre Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 depends... although it'd be awesome to have a nice looking machine, i'd also be worried about the slightest scratch etc... so i'd probably sink it all into performance, and then go racing... you never specified WHAT we had to do after spending the money :P Quote
RollaGirl Posted February 16, 2006 Author Report Posted February 16, 2006 lol, You would have to scrub ppls feet for a whole year. lol i don't know i really did not think bout that one! How bout you tell me what you would be willing to do for the money? Quote
Corolla Test Pilot Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 lol,You would have to scrub ppls feet for a whole year. lol i don't know i really did not think bout that one! How bout you tell me what you would be willing to do for the money? :P Kill a Telstar driver. Use the dosh to build the sleepiest lookin drift weapon ever. Quote
RollaGirl Posted February 16, 2006 Author Report Posted February 16, 2006 LOL Good job! I don't think i would go as far as killin a telstar driver but i totally agree with making a killer drfit weapon! Driffting is tops! If only i knew how! lol Quote
love ke70 Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 i would first spend the money on getting it running. then i would make it faster and would still have money left over so i would justify spending it on body parts by saying they will make it faster. ie, aerodynamics and downforce blah blah and that way i can talk my way into doin it all :P but yeah. performance first Quote
RollaGirl Posted February 16, 2006 Author Report Posted February 16, 2006 Thats a bit sneaky bout putting all the other stuff on the car! But you could oh so get away with it! Like it champ! Quote
st.nick Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 Depends... The Corolla would get $20k worth of insane-rally-car-treatement!!! Nothing but serviceable, practical safety and performance mods... on the other hand... The BMW would get nothing but style and ICE mods. It wouldn't take long to spend either: $1k on lighting, $3k on suspension, $6k on removing dents and a lick of fresh paint, $6k on 20s and $4k on ICE... Bang $20k blown!! Quote
Valandor Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 perforMANce. get A Car and most i would spend on making it look good would be to make it look like it jusT CAme of the factory line. then go for a 7a-fze engine great suspensioN. basically tHE Ultiamte sleeper Quote
Corolla Test Pilot Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 Oh, we want details. Naturally aspirated +300hp Formula Atlantic TRD motor. Sequential 6speed. Independent rear end, coilovers all round. Hydraulic hand brake. So much for the $20k limit. But yeah RollaGirl, I only really need what I can't buy: S-K-I-L-L. Quote
Biggo Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 errrm I remember reading that a formula atlantic 4age will cost in the region of $75k so thats out aannnd they only had ~240hp hahahaha but yair why rice when you can race? Quote
Corolla Test Pilot Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 Meh. I shouldn't even have to worry about price: my reward should be commensurate with the service to humanity I've performed via the elimination of the Telstar driver. And MY 4A-GE wouldn't bother with such trivialities as air restrictors or rev limiters. "Why rice when you can race." Quote
st.nick Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 "Why rice when you can race" Thats gotta be 'bumper-sticker of the year' right there!! Quote
