Sznaps Posted March 30, 2013 Author Report Posted March 30, 2013 I will make these this year I hope. I actually found new ones and bought them along with rear fenders repait kit. Chasis parts for twinky became next to impossible to get. You definately cannot get them in toyota(in europe at least) and replacements also are very very rare so when I see something and got the money - I buy it and put on shelve to be prepared at what future throws at me. These new fenders should be perfect for making forms for fibre glass copies. Quote
azza91 Posted March 31, 2013 Report Posted March 31, 2013 can't wait to see the end result mate. Quote
azza91 Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 looks sweets mate :) what flares did you use? looking into that path myself. Quote
Sznaps Posted April 14, 2013 Author Report Posted April 14, 2013 I used fibre glass copies of the original ones, They are perfect fit and you do not have to do any holes in fender to mount them. Quote
Sznaps Posted April 23, 2013 Author Report Posted April 23, 2013 tiny up. I have changed dash lights for yet another generation of leds. They are white and light is spread evenly - quite nice (the picture gives green-like impression but thats just camera - the color is white) Quote

ke70dave Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 very very cool! its amasing what that slight updated front end does to the car. The ausi ae82's look so much "older" compared to yours. i dunno about those flares and bonnet on that whie beamer.... Quote
Sznaps Posted April 27, 2013 Author Report Posted April 27, 2013 the beamer is drift toy. audi rs engine and many changes. looks not that important to owner. Many of those machines incorporate crazy ideas - i like this bunch though :-) Quote
Sznaps Posted May 9, 2013 Author Report Posted May 9, 2013 I did some cleaning under hood. Not perfect bling bling but its decent I think. Quote
Spencer[RL] Posted May 10, 2013 Report Posted May 10, 2013 (edited) Wow !! Very Impressive , I thought my ae82 4agze was a rocket but this must put quite a few cars to shame ! What other cars have you lined up against on the strip ? My Dash is old and the light is very badly dispersed so was also looking going down the led route. I've already changed my one on the roof for when the door are open and that made a huge difference. I wanted to know which Mk golf your flares are off ? the fit pretty well. Edit: just re-read it mk2 ! thanks Edited May 10, 2013 by Spencer Quote
Sznaps Posted May 10, 2013 Author Report Posted May 10, 2013 (edited) One more vid from testing: Spencer, I made some short vid about fitting these for ae82.net guys. Maybe you will find it useful: Edited May 10, 2013 by Sznaps Quote
