hey guys. i have just bought 4age for my ke wagon. and am looking to freshin her up.

 

now. most of the pulleys have been cracked or have chucks out of them. due to $h!t KeNts at the wreckers when they pulled it out of the car. any how if i were to go aftermarket pulleys, like $h!tty ebay ones or any other that are suggested.

 

is it true that if you get cheap ebay jobs, they can undercharge the alternator and cause lots of little problems?

I am looking at freshing up the old heart so I'm trying to put together a list of things to get. pretty much starting.....

 

now.

 

1. water pump (old ones fecked)

2. idler kit

3. new belts

4. spark plugs

5. leads.

 

(running ITB's too)

what is the difference between a fwd pulley and an ae86 pulley... arnt they the same f9ckin thing?

No there not, found that out the hard way!!

I think, from memory the AE86 sit back about 3mm.

if you are using front wheel drive water pump then you need fwd pulley.. but with the rear wheel drive water pump as it is bigger An sits out further from the motor you need.rwd pulley that sits back further to suit it.

well that came out all Fecked up but do they look to be the right ones?

they will fit if you are going to run the front wheel drive setup waterpumps and everything like that

hmm alright then. well i can get the the standar water pump through work easy as. and they are in stock. so i think an 86's water pump would be a tad hard to obtain. but other the the water pump it all should be right. cheers for you help guys. :thumbsup:
