altezzaclub Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 good grief- OK, and the holes are asymmetric so you can't turn it around. Anyone got stub axle measurements on AE86 and XT130 Coronas? Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 (edited) They aren't symetrical They're 98mm x 103mm x 108mm I like to measure haha edited a random triangle diagram to put the correct specs Edited October 25, 2012 by It's_AUDM_Yo Quote
corolla_ke700 Posted October 25, 2012 Author Report Posted October 25, 2012 so i need coilovers, some AE86 hubs ae86 brakes. what are rca's rear control arms??? Quote
Jono.C Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 Roll centre adjusters. When you lower your car the lower control arms and your tie rods go level instead of being angled down, this causes it to bump steer. So RCA's are blocks that bolt between the struts and steering knuckle to push them back down and correct it Quote
corolla_ke700 Posted October 25, 2012 Author Report Posted October 25, 2012 (edited) true well i might be buying some ae86 coil overs on sat so ill see how that goes. Edited October 25, 2012 by corolla_ke700 Quote

RhysE Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 Just after more info on what needs doing to the rear end? I'm looking at buying bc racing coil overs for my ke70 and wanted them all round? Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 (edited) If you want to put rear coil overs in you will need to weld in some form of supports to the top of the shock mount other wise you will hit a bump and they will punch through it and fly out the rear window. Unless you get the perch mounted adjustables with shocks to suit. Edited October 25, 2012 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
corolla_ke700 Posted October 25, 2012 Author Report Posted October 25, 2012 so what springs and shockys should i get for the rear i hear kings springs suck any suggestions? Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 Custom! or AJPS motorsport springs are the easy option Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 (edited) Koni shocks are good, I'm running Celica ST front ultra lows in the rear of my 70. Edited October 25, 2012 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
Jono.C Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 Can get kings/ lovell's/ pedders etc custom made, just chuck 'em the specs you want and they'll make you a set Quote

What's the best wy to do it? Cheers Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 you'll need more than that. That hole was designed to take basically no weight. You want support the whole car with that + the bumps and jumps that you encounter on the road/track. Quote
