mdw003 Posted April 17, 2013 Author Report Posted April 17, 2013 Haha cheers Mark, Brendan (doriphoto) is a top bloke, he went out of his way to make time for me so I can't thank him enough. And some of the other shots I have seen look like I'm going to have a brilliant new photo album :D Quote

mdw003 Posted June 16, 2013 Author Report Posted June 16, 2013 Entered the old girl into a local show n' shine today, had a good time watching people walk up to it trying to figure out what it was, Despite being positioned up the back between a big jag, a hypo 202 hr and an abundance of old american metal the little rolla went home with 3rd best in show and 3rd peoples choice! All up 75 cars were judged so i'm stoked to be noticed. I got a bit of attitude from the 'show' car guys because my car has rough bits, but I just told them my car is cruiser not a hard parker. B.L.Z.BUB Posted June 16, 2013 Report Posted June 16, 2013 If you're worried about your car getting scratched and dirty its an ornament not a vehicle. Quote
nickyboy Posted June 16, 2013 Report Posted June 16, 2013 can't believe i have only just seen this car. beautiful! Quote
mdw003 Posted June 17, 2013 Author Report Posted June 17, 2013 Cheers mate. Your correct Reed, the 2 cars that beat me were a hj ute that had under 5000kays on it from new. And a 1934 chev hotrod that was detailed to the point he was standing by it all day cleaning off anything that looked out of place... I took my car to the car wash 10 mins before the show, dryed it there, shut the doors and walked away. To be fair they were jaw dropping cars with over 100k in them easy. The best part was driving it out while most of the other guys loaded them on trailers. Cheers. 1 Quote
mdw003 Posted June 20, 2013 Author Report Posted June 20, 2013 Just before I got kicked off the grass by a council worker.... and got stuck on the 2" gutter trying to get off the grass  as I scraped my way off of the gutter I yelled, THIS CAR WAS NOT BUILT FOR A QUICK GETAWAY!!! The council worker cracked up laughing, Cheers. mdw003 Posted June 20, 2013 Author Report Posted June 20, 2013 Adam Cannell, He came down to Whyalla and did 5 cars in one night, he does grind the sidewalls a little, but I wasn't fussed. He also does flappers. Hit him up on Facebook, He might go to Adelaide if he gets a few jobs https://www.facebook.com/groups/376019359164516/ Cheers. Quote
