ke70dave Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) yep that model falcon is the definition of bogan mobile. they can be improved with chunky tyres with writing on them though. Edited October 10, 2012 by ke70dave Quote
7shades Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 Dear god. The amount of bog and fibreglass I've shoved into these things when the metal disappeared... Mercifully, haven't touched one in over a decade. Do yourself a favour, don't take the external C pillar trim off, or the scuff plates on the door sills. Ignorance is bliss. :) 1 Quote
Mason. Posted October 10, 2012 Author Report Posted October 10, 2012 haha lets just say, I'm pissed off at it already. ever rang the free car removal guys up, but they couldnt pick it up untill tomorrow. Mason. Posted October 11, 2012 Author Report Posted October 11, 2012 $300, so probably too much haha, Ill update tonight Quote
Mason. Posted October 18, 2012 Author Report Posted October 18, 2012 No one cares but ill update, Ok so I brought this thing for $400, including the tow truck home as it didnt run, After attemping to solo push and steer it under my house *very tigh squeeze, Had to fold the mirrors in* I gave up, and decided to push it with a patrol. Not a good idea, pic below. Anyway I replaced the starter relay and she fired right up... Runs amazing with only 139,000km After that got sick of dukes of hazarding through the drivers window, so next on my list was the rooted door lock, the part that latched onto the car. Alot of screwing around, after 3 days and many screw drivers it was opened. Today I replaced the bonnet and brought some 14x8 ROH 12 slots for the rear, need a clean and some paint *not a fan of chrome* Which will be wrapped in 245 or 265/60/r14 Bfgoodrich T/A with the raised white lettering next soonish. Not a proiety just yet. Cut the rust out and brough the replacement steel from the wreckers. Getting that welded in by a mobile welder next thursday. Then she'll be ready for a roady! Quote
SLW42 Posted October 18, 2012 Report Posted October 18, 2012 Just don't do all this work then get over it, or crash it :P Quote
