NinjaMekanik Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 Hey all, Have seen a few people looking but not much else. I'm chasing a mini spool for the Borg Warner 68 in my ke55. Any ideas where to look?? Have had no luck on ebay. Plus any idea how many splines the axles would be? Cheers. Quote
Jordain Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 But in all seriousness the model 68 BW is not a common diff to be mini spooled.. I don't think they even make spools for anything other than the r31 BW. Time for the MIG welder to come out and weld the spider gears up like so... 1 Quote
LongJohnSilver Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 (edited) I don't think they even make spools for anything other than the r31 BW ^ This See if you can source a diff that has already been locked/welded, then you can use your open diff as a spare :y: In case you ever get a run in with the :fuzz:, you'll have more options Edit: Then again, any form of permanently locking a differential in a road car isn't encouraged or endorsed by myself and is especially frowned upon by the law.
