Medicine_Man Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 Just slapped together a quick FAQ/Wiki article on 4AGE injectors, If anyone has a better close up of the injector colours I'm missing, please feel free to foward it to me so I can put it up, Thanks, Justin.. http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?tit...eries/Injectors Quote
Biggo Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 NOt 100% but i think you missed mine. They are white/light grey 385cc i think off a 4agze aw11. Quote
Medicine_Man Posted February 12, 2006 Author Report Posted February 12, 2006 Hrmmm, interesting, you don't happen to have a part # at all? Quote
Biggo Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Part # - No tell us where i can find it and ill have a looksey. Quote
Clown Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 international mr2 owners club or club 4ag should be able to tell you. I'd post them up from the mr2 manual i have but its in the g/f's mr2 :P Quote
Biggo Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 Sorry looks like i was wrong again. The ones i was thinking of are off dads car..... Oh and clown is the mr2 manual a repair/workshop one? and does it contain the 4agze? Quote
Medicine_Man Posted February 13, 2006 Author Report Posted February 13, 2006 Part # - No tell us where i can find it and ill have a looksey. The part # is printed on the injectors on the side, You had me worried that there was a new breed of injector for a second there, I was looking madly for it the other night.. Quote
Biggo Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 yair sorry bout that dude, i had dads old ones sitting around somewhere and it seemed like the last thing i saw when i read your post...... anyway, whats the down sides of installing waaaaaayyy to oversized injectors in a 4age? ie 180cc up to 440cc 7m ones? Someone once told me that the max u want to run you injectors is at ~80% duty cycle? BTW thats a good faq you got coming along. Quote
Medicine_Man Posted February 14, 2006 Author Report Posted February 14, 2006 You would need an aftermarket ECU and some tuning time on a dyno if you switched to bigger 7MGTE injectors.. It really depends on your setup as to how big you go, You don't want a nice expensive engine you have just rebuilt leaning out.. As for the FAQ, its coming along bit by bit, I keep adding things as I come across them (Mostly 4AGE related info as it relates to my current conversion), Anyone can add stuff in if they learn how to work it and have an article to put up.. Biggo Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 WRX injectors look to fit 4AGE. i got a pic to but yair after a bit off googling its all confilicting info. I can't get a straight awnser about the size of stockos, but it seems to be either 240cc or 300cc. WRX STI ones are probably around 500cc. just an idea hmmm. Quote
Medicine_Man Posted February 23, 2006 Author Report Posted February 23, 2006 There seems to be a few other options you can take, 3SGE\3SGTE - 370cc injectors will fit apparently.. Quote
Biggo Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 also, if the soob ones fit, apparently a common (well in the US of A) upgrade is to use mitis evo ones. Quote
beerhead Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 Went pink injector clip hunting the other day. Found that FWD pre-widebody camry wagon's were the deal. The sedans weren't the same. It is only possible to get 2 clips per spacia, need to pull out the motor to score the other 2. Got a spare set if anyone is in need. Quote
Biggo Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 So the camry's would be the 3sge ones? hmm intersting if they use the pink injectors. Quote
