InSaNiTy Posted September 27, 2012 Report Posted September 27, 2012 Just use spacers if it's only $20 a pair, the wheels are epic, and the moar lock the moar you will be winning! :) Quote
InSaNiTy Posted September 27, 2012 Report Posted September 27, 2012 And think of the ladies... once you tell them you're "... a legend of the u-turn now!" Quote
Adrogen Posted September 27, 2012 Author Report Posted September 27, 2012 I have ordered some spacers from ebay (6mm $32) will at least see how they look on the car. I would still prefer doing something with the caster rod but it may just be too expensive. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted September 27, 2012 Report Posted September 27, 2012 Why do you need so much lock? Is your car gonna be on that much of an angle it is going to be necessary? Quote
Adrogen Posted September 27, 2012 Author Report Posted September 27, 2012 much easier to park in the city Quote
Jono.C Posted September 27, 2012 Report Posted September 27, 2012 ^ Not sure if serious.. Hope not? hahaha Quote
Adrogen Posted September 29, 2012 Author Report Posted September 29, 2012 One of a few reasons to increase lock haha. Actually giving the car some extra toe out lets it clear, trick might come in handy for rego... Alternatively extra toe in will stop rear of tyre touching the body. Quote
altezzaclub Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 I don't see a problem.. This is stock isn't it? Quote
Jono.C Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 ^ That is far from stock.. Silvia crossmember and front end, strut towers have been moved etc Quote
Trev Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 You try it with the wheels on the ground? Quote
Adrogen Posted September 30, 2012 Author Report Posted September 30, 2012 No I have't put full weight on the front yet, not sure how much it will drop with the 7.5kg springs Quote
Trev Posted September 30, 2012 Report Posted September 30, 2012 Well drop it down and recheck as the geometry will change. Quote
