altezzaclub Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Nice score! The motor decision is up to you but don't ruin a nice granny-spec KE70, they're getting hard to find! Make sure you've got the time, the money, the parts and the enthusiasm before you start, because a half-finished project is worth nothing really. If you could get it finished and running faultlessly it would make a great car! Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Nice car I like the Watanabes. I myself am not keen on the whole "crossbreeding" of cars but I can definitely see why people like these engines I'd rather keep it in house and run a 3sgte(easier to get more power down the track) but that is just me. S2000 gear seems to be pretty expensive in Australia as well. If you've got the time and the money then go for it. This guy is doing the same he's mainly on AE86dc though. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/52637-v-tec-yo/ Quote
Willis Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 3SGTE ftw. Rarely see them in Ketos or 86's. Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 (edited) 3SGTE ftw. Rarely see them in Ketos or 86's. Indeed if I ever do another engine conversion on a KE70 its what it will be. Edited September 9, 2012 by It's_AUDM_Yo Quote
