So I got some retractable KE35/55 coupe seat belts off Dougie.

 

Chucked them in a bucket of hot water with clothes washing powder and a capful of bleach as they were a bit moldy.

 

This is what the water looked like the next morning.

 

 

Emptied that and put a fresh solution in, this is after another night

Need some shorter stalks, anyone got any ideas what I can use?

Instead of stalks for your seat belts could you use the short ones from a rear of a 35/55

?

some ke3x have the stalk's mounted to the seat instead of the floor and are about 100 mm shorter.

 

edit. 250mm as opposed to 350mm .... rough measurements.

I had ke30 wagon ones in my rt118, I still have the ccomplete corona ones around here somewhere whether they are shorter or longer I couldn't tell you. They are yours if they are any use to you

Got some things. Bit hard to see in the pics but I like 'em.

I was tossing up between half moons and the mesh, I think the mesh looks a bit tougher.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They're pretty old so they are domed to suit sealed beams so they make the H4 lights look old school again.

 

Got some other bits and pieces coming also.
