B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 29, 2012 Author Report Posted November 29, 2012 I was waiting for it. At least they will be hidden. I'm sick of rattly speakers with no bass that I can't hear. Quote
nerfbat Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 The plan is to mount them inside an old leather suitcase strapped to the rear seat. brilliant mate..! Quote

B.L.Z.BUB Posted December 8, 2012 Author Report Posted December 8, 2012 (edited) Cheers Mick, So glad I didnt get 3" blocks, its just how I want it and still really comfy to drive. Oh yeah, I went to the local recycling market and picked up a suitcase for my sub box, exactly what I was looking for, old retro and leather. I had $30 bucks cash on me and was willing to pay it so when the chick at the counter said 'That'll be $2' I was pretty happy. Its the perfect size too. So much win. mdw003 Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 yeah 3" blocks are a bit mental, but I'm running a higher tyre profile so it's not to bad Quote

B.L.Z.BUB Posted December 9, 2012 Author Report Posted December 9, 2012 don't kill me but...theres nowhere else to put them! And a huge hole in the door to fit them. Went and saw Trev to grab a new ECU for Peanut and took some happy snaps. Quote
towe001 Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 :guns: :blazin: Nar, should look alright. If you do a build out, i'd keep it low profile, say, 12mm and no higher. Quote
towe001 Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 And dab a spot of superglue (if you try hard enough you won't glue your fingers together again) on the stitching that you've cut so they won't pull out over time. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted December 9, 2012 Author Report Posted December 9, 2012 They will sit flush in the door with the room available, wont need to pack them out. KE1* windows start 1/3 of the way down the door. Quote
