towe001 Posted August 19, 2012 Report Posted August 19, 2012 Hope thats your car, Riley. Haven't seen many E7's that i take a fancy to Quote
ATOYOTA Posted August 19, 2012 Report Posted August 19, 2012 Yeah and? Found out that the OP owns the car posted so I hope that it doesn't go to someone that will ruin it, I would love to roll around in it just the way it is but I have no money left now. I fit the demographic of a skid kid: young kid, red P's, KE70... Just sayin', you don't have to be an old bugger to be a car enthusiast. Hope thats your car, Riley. Haven't seen many E7's that i take a fancy to Yeah, guilty as charged. Lowered by means of coilovers, wheeled by means of Carving Head 40's. Quote

You totally mistook my post, what you have there is a fine example of a tastefully modified ke70, I am talking about people that take a nice car and turn it into a pig. Quote
altezzaclub Posted August 19, 2012 Report Posted August 19, 2012 I remeber reading Andy Capp cartoons when I was younger- a layabout who was always dodging work & drinking beer while Flo his wife worked. I think it was set in Northern England. I wasn't sure how that related to some modern-day interpretation of 'flat-cap'. Lovely car Riley, the sad ones are those that start off Granny-stock an end up more like this.... although usually matt black. 1 Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted August 19, 2012 Report Posted August 19, 2012 The guy fixed that car up heaps. Looks like this now, although the lip isn't on in this photo. Quote
ATOYOTA Posted August 19, 2012 Report Posted August 19, 2012 In all fairness though, that is one tough looking rolla. And RE flat caps: Quote

KE-70Cruiser Posted August 23, 2012 Report Posted August 23, 2012 I think that if you are a young kid then you shouldn't buy it as it will end up with cut springs, a locked diff, dents, mis-matched wheels and look like all the other E7's that were in good condition before being purchased as a drifter. I'm a (within two or three weeks) P plater and I have a paddock bomb KE-70 and have decided that lowering AT ALL is an abhorrent idea as they jus.t don't take any shit, go off roading and shooting in the ol girl and I'd hate to drive a car with mismatched wheels. Not all of us are the same and I own a COMMODORE (probably the most unconventional Commy P plater out :P Quote
Trev Posted August 23, 2012 Report Posted August 23, 2012 I don't hate all of the above, I don't mind when someone gets a tired E7 and returns it back to it's former glory but better, I just hate it when an original is hacked as it leaves fewer nice ones around. Quote
towe001 Posted August 23, 2012 Report Posted August 23, 2012 Know where your coming from on that Trev, but i guess in a way it comes with age. When i got my first car, i hacked it to bits with adding "crap" now its a case of taking a step back and thinking "is there a better way ?" These days i don't even cut the door frames for speakers - i'd sooner space them out and make use of the existing holes. Quote
