I put the front bar back on and it doesnt look good so ill probably leave it off.

If u want flip the parkers and indicators upside down and slot em in the gaps like i did. Makes it look more complete and stops the indicators from flashing like crazy :kiwi:

hey guys we having a bit of a problem with the carbs, not too sure what it is, it cranks overr fine but doesnt always start from cold, sometimes it needs petrol down the carb to get it to start...any one have any tips for tuning twin su sidedraughts?

Have you got the chokes hooked up? My su's would sometimes crank over like 30 times before it would fire in winter. Best thing i did was get a twin choke cable from a mini and after that no problems whatsoever.

Are you using the chokes on the carbs? there s a lever that that pulls the main jet down under the carb, other than that lack of suction (tired motor), Big cam (lack of suction).

tuning is usualy done by adjusting the jet needle on the main pistons inside the carb and the lower Jet is adjustable by a threaded adjuster that moves the jet up and down

Also the oil used in the carb piston (accessed by the screw cap on the top) this will adjust how responsive the rev is. don't use to thick oil (could also be a cause of hard to start as the cold oil is too thick and the piston doesnt move the needle out of the jet enough to get enough fuel to start) and no oil will make it a bit rich when driving and may run poorly.

haha sure did, yea i thought it would be the choke cables, they havent been hooked up so i guess thats the problem, so the choke cables used on a mini work? obviously with some mods

Its pretty straightforward, the only thing you need to do is cut them a bit shorter.
