1980 Something Corolla. Thought Id Throw My Build Of My Derby

hey everyone i thought id throw up my build thread of my derby car corolla for shits and giggles. and cause I'm bored. well heres the story i purchased it for $70 as cause it was a stat write off and could never be driven on the road again. so me and the old went and picked it up didnt know what to expect cause it had been in a t-bone. but i found out it t boned another car. and only got a bent chassis cause of it. atm i have taken all interior parts out windows door skins consoles, plastics the lot. welded the drivers door shut. and welded the mesh on front drivers side, and drivers side window. all i gotta do now is get a 20ltr fuel tank and connect that with the fuel lines run the battery lines through the fire wall, and bolt in the support bars for the driver. i know there will be alot of people dissing this cause its not a sick ke20 with conversion and shit but hey its a site yu can do nearly what you want.

ok so i dunno how to add writing to the pics to the pics in order are, when i picked it up from taree, then when i finally got the busted headlights and parkers out, took the side windows and door skins off, testing the blue paint to see how it came out, interior stripped, how it sat at the end of the week after picking it up on anzac day, added a littlejdm spark to it, front end, but number is gonna be 499, how it sist today - the exhaust

Haha thanks mate. Yeah Iam I'm gonna have a lil camera mounted on my helmet and gonna have numerous people filming it from the side line. Gonna keep updating this with pics of what I've done to it then when it's crunch time upload pics of it crushed lol

just an update added another colour and changed the number, lot of work coming in the next few weeks, getting my intrusion bars cut to length and the metal plate protecting the drivers cut down to size :)

new pics are finishing it changing clolour like 100 times then it on the day then the after math of the derby. a mate thought hed reverse form the other side of the ring and hit me that was one hit on the front bent the ʞ©$ɟ out of the hole front end ended up over heating cutting out. started up after the derby limiter banged the ʇ~~ɔ out of the ring till were i parked it!
