coln72 Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 Please excuse the background music & the massive file size, a little of Stelvio. Comes up as private and wont play :( Quote
carbonboy Posted September 12, 2012 Author Report Posted September 12, 2012 Comes up as private and wont play :( This is why I shouldn't be allowed to play with fancy gadgets. Hopefully I've fixed that & it should work now. :) Quote
coln72 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Thats one scary piece of road. Wishin for something light, powerful and RWD.............................. Quote
Jono.C Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 I'm pretty jelly about the Topgear stuff!!! Also I'll take that F40 please. Thanks! :jamie: Quote
carbonboy Posted September 13, 2012 Author Report Posted September 13, 2012 Thats one scary piece of road. Wishin for something light, powerful and RWD.............................. Very, Switzerland was a reality check as well. Sure, the national limit's 80km/h & it's twisty with some straight bits like the Great Ocean Road. But you're on a BIG friggin mountain, with randomly appearing wandering cows & not as many/less sturdy safety barriers as what we have. Commonly sighted cars around these parts (aside from the local variety) were MX-5's & S2000's. ;) Germany. Italy. Switzerland. France. That video upload did nasty things to my data allowance, going to borrow my house-mates connection soon to upload the rest that I've finally managed to sort through. Also I'll take that F40 please. Thanks! :jamie: This one? You & me both. Saw this in Monza, went for another drive. With the traction control having a hissy-fit & me nearly falling out of my seat I in no way did it justice. Probably a good thing as there's large pieces of tree on the road & a fence across the track halfway around. I normally don't like the new Mini's, but... Quote
nerfbat Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 (edited) that mini is very, very secksee, mate..! Edited September 14, 2012 by nerfbat Quote
carbonboy Posted September 14, 2012 Author Report Posted September 14, 2012 There's a special place in Belgium where Volvo's go to die. The Corolla count was sadly lacking. Quote
7shades Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 (edited) There's a special place in Belgium where Volvo's go to die. Noooooo there are 142's in there :( Ninja edit: I was wrong. Its just a 144 and the roof of a 360. Got excited for a minute there. Edited September 14, 2012 by 7shades Quote

carbonboy Posted September 17, 2012 Author Report Posted September 17, 2012 Videos are uploading, may take a while as there's about 9gb or so worth. :) Got excited for a minute there. I had no idea which particular ones they were, just thought you'd like it. this makes me want to head over when/if i ever get some cash..!! awesome mate I can highly recommend it, airfares will be the most expensive single part & pretty much everything can be booked online. For what I spent, my car could be completely finished exactly how I want it. Not too concerned that it's not, it was worth every cent! Inside St Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin. Random Irish protesting. So many puns for this one, I'll just leave it alone. More from Blarney. The poison garden, thinking about taking up a new hobby... ;) The plants accompanying the signs were all there in the garden, except one. Meanwhile, in Amsterdam... Quote
nerfbat Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 nice mate..! lol at the name of the plants..! i thought they were reserved purely for my assassin games... Quote
carbonboy Posted September 19, 2012 Author Report Posted September 19, 2012 Well.......... Uploading the video to YouTube was easy enough, then I had lots of fun fending off copyright claims from several parties, which may have included a large record label. Basically told them all to go get f**ked & we'll see how it pans out. :) Anywho a little bit of fun from Amsterdam, a part of the tour of the Heineken Brewery. There's a hallway with a heap of projectors & sensors mounted to the ceiling, which adapt the image on the floor in relation to where you are & what you do. This was before I got a few beers into me. The bells of the Cologne Cathedral going off. Quote
carbonboy Posted September 19, 2012 Author Report Posted September 19, 2012 When you have access to sections of road with no speed limits & a "This vehicle is limited to ...km/h" sticker on the dash of your car, you just have to don't you? My first look at the San Bernadino Pass, had wanted to take the tunnel through the mountain, grab some sleep & go for it in the morning. It had been a long day & I was probably going a tad faster than what would be considered sensible. Quote
carbonboy Posted September 20, 2012 Author Report Posted September 20, 2012 F*cking Vito. Amen to that (trying to convince boss to swap to a Hyundai i-load before it's too late), you pushed yours off a cliff yet? :P S.B in the daylight, it's a lot scarier when you can see how far the wreckage will tumble if you stuff up. I mean, it's f**king beautiful! :) Quote
